Glimmers

In the dirt or the dark sky
Twinge slightest dazzles before
An unattentive eye. Do you see?
Glimmers? Glimmers are illusions too,
The coalescence of this angle,
This lighting, happenstance to be just there
To catch a glimmer of something
That doesn't shine a lot. Stars, which
Will beam a million years before
We see their light, twinkle the glint
Of something beyond themselves. A splint
That sets the course of astronauts
And sets their looks above.
Where does the glimmer begin?
Why not love?
