Ghosts of flame and fire

Ghosts of flame and fire,
The ashen smoking cone,
Razor thin sheets of paper,
And half-burnt brown strips

The mark is Marlboro
And the label warns of cancer,
Even death(science in short,)
But it should read:
Dogs the dreams
And stains the mind's eye.
Beware
If you try;
Smoke these a while
And you'll see,
Eventually just feel in the roughest sense
The mysteriously black sensation
Of having a cigarette
And awing curiously as it burns slowly with yourself
That you can take twenty times
For five euro.
